The goal of Kearney Works is to provide comprehensive services and resources to the unemployed and underemployed.
We provide three pillars of service for the unemployed and underemployed clients:
Kearney Works offers workforce development and skills training solutions for unemployed and underemployed clients through individualized plans and community collaboration.
Program participants complete an individual needs assessment form that outlines past and current employment, employment related barriers, financial status and education level.
Based on individual needs, indirect assistance is provided to pay for services that reduce barriers to employment, such as transportation and education on behalf of an individual being served by Kearney Works.

- Establish soft skills / pre-employment training curriculm
- Determine certificate training opportunities aligning with the needs of local employers
- Provide mentoring services for individuals to ensure long-term success
