Kearney Works is focused on one thing-getting you connected to the jobs, services, training and assistance you need to earn a living wage. Our goal is to provide comprehensive services and resources, whether you are unemployed or underemployed. 

You may be currently employed and need additional training to increase your earning potential. Maybe there are barriers that don't allow you to seek that training. Kearney Works can help you! 

You may be unemployed and seeking an opportunity to get back in the job market and improve your life. Again, you may have barriers that don't allow you to find that job that will meet your needs. Kearney Works can help you!

Our process is this:

• Establish soft skills / pre-employeement training curriculm
• Determine certificate training opportunities aligning with the needs of local employers
• Provide mentoring services for individuals to ensure long-term success

​​Programs and services provided by Kearney Works include mentoring, soft skills training, and pathways to appropriate work training and/or
education. The educational program is extremely flexible with multiple entry and exit points based on the participant’s needs and goals.

what does it cost?

career assessment
Clients are given an online assessment to determine their individual career direction and goals. This along with personal interviews will result in a customized employment plan.

training
The training program is individualized to meet the needs of each client. Training is provided either through online programs or through local
training providers.

​coaching / mentoring
Coaching/mentoring is provided by trained volunteers from the Kearney community. They provide the personal contact needed to help our clients
overcome employment obstacles and offer support and encouragement.
